Excellent hotel on the St Croix River

This is a really comfortable historic hotel that has been updated. Very large rooms, some with views of the river. A good Irish pub in the building serves meals, and the shops and restaurants of Stillwater are all within a couple of blocks. Very relaxing stay.

I absolutely loved the historical feel of this place, the irish pub was perfect and our room was fantastic! This place caught my attention so much, We will be spending Christmas here with all our children next year!!

A lovely and interesting hotel

We enjoyed our stay at the Water Street Inn. A fantastic location. The Irish restaurant was very good for breakfast. We didn't have any sheets or extra blankets to use in our suite, so we had to ask for them to bring them to the room. Also, not all the windows had shades on them. We had three people in our suite, but they only had enough towels for two people. Overall the room was quiet except for a drunk yelling during the middle of the night.
