This hotel was not what we were expecting! We stayed only one night, after landing in San Jose. The building is truly beautiful inside, with lots of artwork and different photo ops. There are some restaurants within walking distance - making super easy. Their breakfast in the morning was delicious! The whole building was spotless, so clean the floors sometimes squeaked! We had a room that the window went into some hallway of sort, to nothing, instead of seeing outdoors. Otherwise the room was great. The heat pump kept the room comfortable.
This was not a typical hotel layout that we’re used to (Canadians). The hallways went up and down and spiralled and was a little confusing to get used to, but once you figured it out it was fine. We never had a chance to use the shared kitchen by our room, but it had a propane stove, fridges, and just about anything you might need to cook yourself. The many sitting/living rooms were nice too. There were also spa services and a bar that we didn’t have time to take advantage of. We would’ve been happy to spend a few more days here!
