This is a beautiful property with excellent amenities, but it fails in the professionalism department. Our stay was nice except for Wi-Fi issues that persisted over 7 days. Biggest slam was learning they had a workaround for us on day 1 but only actually offered it the day before checkout. (Nearly 2 week stay). When things go well, it’s excellent. When there is a question or problem, it’s out of the hands of whoever you talk to. Wi-Fi? That’s an engineering problem… I am only authorized to do X… 12;00 checkout authorized? Door knocks from progressively larger people every 10-20 min from 10 am… siloed management and not great communication between really any of those silos, and really within them other than probably training how to always say “no” politely. The regular employees are all great but held back by their “marching orders” coming down the chain,
If you can summon your rudest inner Karen or just immediately (and politely) ask for a manager the instant something is wrong, you will have an exceptional stay and problems will be resolved or viable workarounds will be given to you. Just know that the normal employees are typically not allowed to present those workarounds.
Construction was going on the whole time but posed no real issue at all other than being the likely cause of the Wi-Fi outage. Had that not happened, we would give 5 stars across the board except service. The Wi-Fi issues just exposed why this is their only current flaw. Just bad communication.
