The little touches like the free bottomless of wine on arrival, the teddy bear gifts for our two little children was really very much appreciated. Breakfast was great too with a wide selection, and the biscuits on check out came in handy for the car journey home.

Nice stay during a mountain bike trip for a prime mountain experience. Quiet village. Beautiful hotel. Staff were top notch…the Portuguese aren’t known for customer service…these folks are fantastic! The room faced onto a street level view which wasn’t great; although surprisingly quiet. The spa was wonderful. We are huge fans of water therapy, moving from the sauna to cold plunge to warming tubs, etc. They delivered! And the food!! Very good. Breakfast was excellent with stunning views of the mountains. Highly recommend this palace!
