Location great and affordable price.

Consider this review with the cost of the stay. The cost was very economical; I had a room that looked clean the day I arrived. The rooms in the hotel are located in the basement. Some windows let daylight in to the sidewalk. I kept my curtains closed, so the room technically had no windows. There are no amenities in the building. The location is great. There is no daily cleaning, but you can request the staff for towels and cleaning to put the trash out. Overall in comparison with the price, the cleanliness was better than expected and if you are not planning to spend too much time in the room; you would be ok.

Requested for a 2nd bed, didn’t get it. No towels or ammenities, and when asked for an extra bed or mattress, they denied saying expedia never notified them about the request. Paid 1500 for 3 nights and 3 people which was overpriced and under delivered service. Very upsetting. And also to mention they said the hotel room is only for two people not three and expedia shouldn’t have allowed to book for three people. Whos at fault here?

The room was in a basement, and anyone from the street could look into the room. The room was also kind of dirty, and it took a really long time for the shower to heat up. The walls are really thin so you can hear doors opening and closing, as well as conversations in the hallway. The staff were nice, but not super helpful. However, the location is great and the room is decorated relatively nicely.

It was like staying in a European business hotel. The room was in the basement with no windows. The way out was not clearly marked and I stumbled into some strangers’ occupied and unlocked room. There were no restaurants open nearby when I arrived late in the evening. Guests made a terrible racket all through the night, and even blocking the cracks around the door with cloth did not allow me to sleep. However, it was clean and safe with a comfortable bed.

Service was great but the room was definitely not sound proof as advertised. We could hear the staff welcoming other guests and in the morning we could clearly hear the showers. Would not recommend for those that have dust allergies. There was dust under the bed and when we plugged in the cord for the fridge (there is a mini fridge:)) we saw that area was definitely not cleaned for a while. The shower room was everything we wanted and overall the look of the room was very modern and nice.

Tried to charge us additional fees during check-in (prepaid), they claim to have soundproofing, however, you could hear conversations through the wall and they were cleaning and vacuuming the hallway at 10pm. Linens were not clean, garbage and dust left on the floor and under the bed and we had to request towels. Overall very poor stay, I'd recommend spending a little more to stay somewhere else.

Weirdest customer service ever

It was conveniently located next to the champ de mars station and the notre dame basilica. However, the hotel service was a little weird. Got the private room and the first thing i noticed there were no washcloths. I had asked for one and was told they no longer distribute them because families do weird things with washcloths and they’d rather not give me one. I had to run down to the mall to buy a washcloth to shower. The rooms weren’t cleaned during my whole stay even though i placed the sign requesting cleaning. When i asked about it, the front desk stated that the cleaning crew thought i was in my room the entire time (even though i made sure to remove the sign when i was in the room). When I asked for extra coffee stirrers I was told they never had them even though they were initially in the room. What really annoyed me was when i asked about laundry service on the last night of my stay and was told the washer for residents wasn’t working only to have a resident use it. It seemed like any time you approached the front desk to ask a question, they seemed really annoyed with the guests — not sure if the staff had a bad day or were overworked. The attitude didn’t bother me as much as the weird answers or hotel rules. I also didn’t like the rooms were in the basement and the windows were on the street. Great lighting but the public could peep in on you. I’d say pay a little extra for a decent hotel.

I barely slept because of the noise from the street and from inside the hotel (it seemed the staff was doing something overnight and not sure if other guesses were also loud). The front of the hotel was dusty and didn’t have a front desk, just sort of a podium with a kiosk on the side. At the time of checking out, nobody was available and we kept ringing the bell until someone answered the intercom (maybe we checked out too early). Pillows were think. Pros: room is well remodeled, nice and clean. Hotel is located at walking distance from Place d’arms and restaurants.

This hotel doesn't qualify for 3.5 stars. It should be 2 stars. the entrance is dirty and one have to go down a stair with heavy bags. there is no daily housekeeping. my room was not done the second day. there were no towels when I arrived. I will ask for reimbursement.

The location can not be beat. The only reason to stay here is that you are right by all of the shops, restaurants and a lot of the tourist attractions. However there is absolutely no one available from the property. Check in was not easy. You have to keep pushing a intercom on the outside of the building and hopefully eventually someone will show up and open the door for you and tell you what room you are going to. If you need anything once you check in...like extra towels, blankets, coffee etc. there is absolutely no one to get this from. Check out was non existent. There is no one to talk to to or tell that you are checking out.
