We enjoyed a wonderful stay, we were made very welcome and the room (Granville) was absolutely lovely. The bed was very comfortable and there was ample tea coffee chocolate supplies in the room. My room was spacious, spotlessly clean and, as an added bonus, came with a coffee machine so no terrible instant coffee in the morning. The food took what was already an excellent stay to another level at both breakfast and dinner with amazing food. The two men running things also strike the perfect balance of friendly, attentive and relaxed to make you feel welcome. When I’m next in the area I’ll definitely be staying again.

Lifton Hall is a character building in a lovely village near the Devon-Cornwall border. Room was quiet and very comfortable with every possible amenity provided. Staff were very extremely friendly and obliging. Food was excellent. Free parking and good wi-fi. Highly recommended!

We needed a room for one of our workers for just one night. He was greeted warmly and made to feel very welcome. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Made a bacon sandwich for our man to take to work with him as he started work prior to when breakfast was due to start. He said it was the best bacon sandwich he had ever had.!
