The hotel was in a great location, it was very clean and comfortable, the pools and other facilities were terrific, it had everything we needed but above all else and I can't stress this enough, the staff and I mean ALL staff were exceptional, friendly and helpful, willing and able to help with anything we needed from check in (Shannon) to check out, the lounge and everyone in between We've never had such a fantastic experience with staff like we did here. Room was clean, comfortable and roomy (we had a room facing the ocean with a balcony), the breakfast food quality in the restaurant and service was definitely top tier. The staff from check in all the way to the restaurant were awesome. This is one of Parksville's "Sweet Spots" to stay and look forward to returning soon.

Wonderful location, friendly staff and great amenities. Both pools were nice and workout center was large with lots of options. I enjoyed the balcony and views around the property. Plenty of picnic tables with ocean views and lovely walks on the beach when the tide was low. Close to the markets and restaurants. Only issues were the hot tub wasn't working and the shared microwaves could use some upgrading. These were minor issues for us though. We would definitely come back for a visit.
