Great hotel and helpful, very nice staff. Only drawback were the absence of hangers in our room. Positive surprise to be rewarded with a free beer when using the towels more than one day. Also very nice with the Atrium - where you could hang out together with friends after a long day around town.

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the Doghouse very much and would stay again. The staff was friendly, and the whole establishment has a fun, boutique vibe. If you like dogs and beer, you’re in the right place - whether or not your pet is traveling with you. Great location, a 5 minute walk to the train station and 1 block away from the Royal Mile. Meals at the restaurant, including breakfasts, were excellent: made to order and fresh ingredients. Ordering BrewDog pre-stocked beer in the “shower fridge” was entertaining as well as handy. When we experienced a housekeeping issue upon check-in, the staff was quick to acknowledge and address it. Our room was an entire small loft apartment with full kitchen. The loft bedroom did get quite warm - so the hotel-provided fan was very helpful.
