Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to congratulate Courtyardby Marriott. We were stopping over for one night to enable to catch a flight. The bar and restaurant staff were exceptional, helpful and happy to help. They seemed to enjoy their work.
Unfortunately, the reception staff on the two occasions we spoke .. checking in and checking out, rated one star. They were unhelpful, non-smiling and dismissive. I don’t speak French but I am highly travelled… the young lady did not even say hello and spoke so quickly that I had to ask her to repeat three times.
I would have thought most of your travellers are international and therefore French is not the first language.
On checking out.. no hello, no good morning, just how much we owed on the bill. Because of these two reception staff we will not be booking Courtyard again.
We enjoy the relationship with good service when we travel and expect friendliness and helpfulness.
