Had new furniture, but it felt like lipstick on a pig. Parking was fine place felt grimy overall and some people got into a fight in front of our room around 12:30 at night. Didn’t help that we saw two people heavily strung out on drugs a couple blocks away. Though they were ok with dogs.

The check in desk was behind bullet proof glass. Room was clean but very dated with mold in the bathroom, ceiling portion starting to fall in, rust stains in the mini fridge, bubbling paint and chips in the walls. Since the hotel faces a major street it's also quite noisy at night. The staff was pleasant and helpful accommodating my request to be on the third floor since I didn't feel safe on the first floor. Door opens directly to parking lot.

It's okay for a value hotel. Cheapest chain I could find in town, it's just expensive in NJ. My only complaint is they didn't have coffee in the room or even in the lobby. LAZY. Room was okay though. Convenient and choices of restaurants nearby.
