Decent motel but had an issue in middle of night.

In general the hotel is decent, it needs a bit more cleaning and maintenance. I had a terrible nights sleep though. There was people banging on doors and yelling and screaming in the middle of the night. I was unable to get back to sleep so I’m feeling very tired today.

Great convenient location. Made to order breakfast is free, quick and delicious. Free Dinner is also served every evening except Fridays. The staff was not only friendly but several step in to fill other rolls seamlessly when needed. We liked this place so well we timed our return trip so we could overnight there again. Great job, Super 8 by Wyndham!

The hotel was very nice! Especially for the price. The room was very clean and freshly updated. The pool was huge! You can tell the pool and the hotel are a little older but the owners have done a great job making it look very nice. The key cards didn’t work so back to the office. When we walked into our room, we were shocked at how dirty the carpet was. Crumbs and stained carpet, we thought about wearing our shoes to bed! The bathroom mirror was so covered with dried moisture due to no exhaust fan Next morning we went to the breakfast room and was greeted by the breakfast attendant she was great! She had a stack of fresh eggs and offered to fix us eggs however we wanted, or she would make us a waffle. And more! All was very good, we were pleasantly surprised! So the breakfast lady and the breakfast food was very good!

Our reservation was a non-smoking but the room reeked of cigarettes. We were too exhausted from traveling to go through the process of getting another room. One bed had a plastic sheet on it…why? Toilet off balance and wobbly. Staff wouldn’t let us use our Wyndham account nor our Veterans discount. Very upset and dissatisfied.

We read the reviews before we booked. Everyone said it was clean and comfortable. It’s not. It was filthy. We got a smoking room because my husband smokes, but we have NEVER stayed in a smoking room where the burn holes were all over the carpets and ashes on the beds still, dirty sheets, and pee on the floor around the toilet. Myself, my husband and two teenage sons stopped at the lake city super 8 on our way to Naples fl. I had read some really good reviews and had high hopes for the place. It was right off the highway and after a 14 hour drive, with 5 more hours in the morning to go, we were completely drained. We walked in, expecting the room to smell like cigarettes, but we’re greeted with a mildew/mold smell. It was horrible. We couldn’t shower because we felt like as soon as you stepped out into the dirty room, you’d have to shower again. No bugs though, which was a nice surprise. We slept on top of the blankets and duvet, the beds were old and uncomfortable. We didn’t complain because it was so late, and we had to get some sleep no matter what because of our circumstances the next morning. Their only saving grace was their front desk lady, she was very kind and it was nice to see a friendly face when we arrived around 11:30pm. Definitely would not recommend.
