The hotel is in the city center but it was nice to walk around. A book shop across the street was open an added perk

Great location. Lots of dining and shopping in walking distance. No hotel parking, but there is a loading/unloading area in front of the hotel and free parking within walking distance. Our room windows were facing the stairs for the nearby church/tourist site, so not as quite or private as I would have liked.

Older hotel with excellent location downtown and next to the church. Hotel is well worn. Room cleanliness wasn’t the best.

This property is central within Akureyri. The people at the front desk were so nice and also helpful. We had no problem parking, but I think we got lucky. There is no dedicated parking, so you have to find a place on the street.

Beautiful property and location. Very hot in rooms with the tiniest of windows and poor air circulation. Small fan provided but it didn’t help. Only one elevator made check in and checkout a slow process. Parking an issue too. Good amenities, Very nice staff.

It was okay. The location is great right in downtown area. Parking was easy. The hotel is okay. Our room was on street level so you heard people walk by all hours of the night. The room was hot but with the window open….on street level….is wasn’t very private or quiet. The breakfast was a disappointment especially as we paid extra for it. On our entire Iceland trip this was the most underwhelming breakfast. They ran out of many items and did not restock. Espresso based coffees were an extra charge .

The property is in a great location and was easy to get to. There is no on site parking which can be difficult and the layout is odd - we had to go up to floor 3 from floor 1 to go down to floor 2. It wasn't really far, but more of a hassle with luggage to get to and from the room.
