The hotel let itself by not having a high chair for our 6 month old baby at breakfast. Breakfast was quite quiet yet they didn’t have more than 2x high chairs in the whole hotel. Overall a nice stay in the hotel. The staff were friendly and the room clean and spacious. The temperature in the bar area was on the cold side and the staff could have cleared the used plates at breakfast away quicker. We had to eat breakfast surrounded by dirty crockery. Otherwise breakfast was plentiful and tasty.

I booked the hotel because in the photos, the pool looked really nice and that was the reason I chose the hotel. We went to the pool once. It didn’t feel ‘heated’ as advertised and it was cloudy (perhaps with chemicals). The pool area is also quite tired and in need of some updating. The next time I wanted to use the pool, it was unavailable, despite being advertised as open that particular day and time. I am disappointed.

Checkin was straight forward, we had a nice warm welcome from the staff. The reception area was nice and warm, and very well presented. Our room was a family room with a small balcony overlooking the woods. The room was warm, with some supplementary heating if needed. Nicely decorated, with 2 queen doubles, the bed linen was super soft and cosy. We slept very well. The bathroom was clean and had all the things you would expect to find in a bathroom. The dining area was very impressive, you choose to sit in the bar area, conservatory, or the dining room. Very nicely presented , the waiting on staff were very helpful. The evening menu was good and the food was cooked and presented nicely. There was also a children's menu. Breakfast was plentiful with a good selection of choice. Would have been a 5 star review except for the coffee stains on the wall in the bedroom,and dirty marks on the curtains. ( Attention to detail) Great stay would recommend for anyone visiting Legoland.
