The Hills Lodge is always excellent. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. I really appreciated the early check-in and late check-out. Thanks for a lovely stay.

All around a lovely place, but there's a few things you can improve. We arrive at the hotel after 9pm from a conference and couldn't order room service, since the restaurant close early, maybe something you should consider. Also was not lights around the property at the entrance to our room and we are on our seventies and wasn't that save for us, and due to my mobility was closer for us to go through the back as it was few steps to the room, but we love the place and planning to go back, will be good to see improvements on our return.

Loved the lodge feeling and greenery e.g. garden maintenance. Was clean and staff were very friendly and accommodating including kitchen staff. I stayed 2 nights for my wedding day and the staff were flexible with my changes of who was staying with me the 1st night (bridesmaids) and when MUA and photographer attended in the morning. On the 2nd night with my husband, they sent complimentary champagne to our room as a sweet gesture. Thank you to the Hills Lodge team, we would stay again. :)

Short Stay

A short, hurried overnight stay. I loved that it was low rise. Accommodation was very spacious and comfortable, we wish we had more time to enjoy it. The bed linen was good quality. It was the best night sleep I have had in a while. Darlene rates a special mention for her friendly manner and assistance. Breakfast staff spent much time talking to each other at the expense of guests who were on a tight schedule. They had to be approached so we could be seated. Located a little bit away from public transport and taxis do not always respond to short journey requests.
