Overall very good only one gripe is pool towels. In most other hotels we’ve stayed in there are stations where you can pick up and return pool towels unfortunately the towels were changed in your room during cleaning if you were out prior to room cleaning your pool towels were not changed

We had an amazing stay at Karon sea sands, highly recommend the pool access rooms. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant as possible, breakfast was fantastic, beds were super comfortable, was stoked to have a bath in the room also. We will definitely be back next trip. Many thanks to the fabulous staff and their generous hospitality :)

It’s a best value for money. Big room size and big bath room with bath tub and separate shower area. Excellent location, just across beach and enough shops for food, massage and shopping. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would stay again. They were kind enough to allow me late check out until 1 pm. Bit of more vegetarian/vegan options for breakfast will make it more vegan friendly

I was upgraded to a room that connected directly to the swimming pool from the balcony, which was very cool and because of this, I ended up using the pool twice. Very limited vegetarian options in breakfast beyond the fruit the TV was almost unusable and really could only play one or two channels, but great location, easy walking distance to everything and a beautiful place beautiful place to hang out

Great Hotel in Ideal location.

Really good location and comfortable hotel with lovely staff. Breakfast is OK and Nextdoor - I was upgraded to pool room with direct access which was lovely. Only comment is to add bed side lighting as there are no reading lights. Would highly recommend!

The property is very quiet more like a hotel then a resort. There’s no entertainment and the breakfast starts so late if you do any excursions you won’t get breakfast. It was clean and staff is very nice. Convenient location.

I absolutely loved everything about the property. It was the best hotel experience I have ever had. Min, Nune, Jane, and every one else were extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was great every day. Our room was very spacious and clean. Wifi was great, water pressure was great bed was great. The best thing is the location, it is close to everything. I definitely recommend going to this hotel. I will miss it! I hope I can come back again one day. Thank you Sea Sand Resort for the best experience! We really had a blast!!!

I like this resort very much. It was quiet, well-equipped and accessible, the swimming pool was clean and reasonably sized, and the neat breakfast was a simple breakfast. The staff are all friendly and the cocktail of irish bar run by the same company was also great. I extended my stay because I wanted to stay here. I want to visit again. And I'm not Chinese.

We had a pool access room, good room for the money. The ladder down to the pool was a bit hard and slippery, you would not want to use it if you are old or infirm. Breakfast was good, fairly small area but they change it slightly each day. The area around the hotel is also very good, beautiful beach across the road and restaurants and other shops close by. Also they have a twice daily shuttle to Patong if you want to go there. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

Awesome staff, perfect location , a smaller type accomm where the owners really care about your experience and support for whatever you need - I was unfortunate enough to have a fall on uneven path and the assistance and support I received when unable to contact my husband was second to none, including staff driving me to two hospitals and waiting for me and providing assistance with language barrier - above and beyond and I will be forever grateful. May not be the newest or most luxurious but the pool is big there are lots of sun loungers breakfast has many great options including egg station opposite the beach and right next to great massage, restaurants (our fave was Chet thai food about 200 metres away from the roundabout) coffee shops and mini marts and 7-11. Already dreaming about coming back next year. Loved it and the staff makes it so wonderful - Thankyou to Karon sea sands for a perfect experience to celebrate our wedding anniversary!

Pros: location-right across from the beach pool-nice layout breakfast buffet - amazing The reason I won't stay there again and canceled the second half of my trip is: 1. wifi was horrible; everytime you put your phone down, it would lock you out so you would have to sign up to wifi again, and that could take up to 20 minutes. We let them know and they said it just works that way (??). We told them that's not OK and after a full day they sent an engineer out to switch out the box from 2.4g to 5g; still had the same problem but figured useless to complaint 2. sprayed pesticides-by spray i mean a huge very long cloud; taller than me and very thick. They did give notice 2 days before but the spraying was allowed to be for the full day (daytime hours) 3. Power went out-Twice. Once due to a storm so not their fault; second time because it was scheduled-during the day-though they told us the night before. That means no hot water, no electricty, etc; sort of a bummer at a four star resort-i'm fine with those conditions when camping but at a 4 star no thank you. i normally don't leave bad reviews but when we had to run through the pesticide cloud to get to our room and the attendant was laughing-ummmm not OK
