when I got into the room, it was easily 85 degrees in there and the floors look like they werent swept in weeks. There was stains on the sheets and a pillow case. I had an issue with a broken door knob, I told the front desk and they said they would notify maintenance, well, that never happened. Id never stay there again.

The room was not cleaned properly, the toilet seat was dirty from the previous guest. The floor was very dirty and the bed linen was not done properly. Upon entry to the room I was greeted with a strong BLEACH scent which was very unpleasant. I've stayed in a few hotel rooms and this is my worst experience.

This place was a bad experience from the start. Their check in office is across the street and down the block. The parking is horrible. The room are musty! House keeping doesn’t come at all. The microwave was broken! Going up the stairs at night time there was homeless people sleep underneath.

What we didn't like is having to check in at another motel a block down. Then having to pay for parking. We only were allowed 1 spot which wasn't a problem but it was in back of motel and a very tight driveway to drive down along a fence line. Room was clean and comfortable and close to beach.

Absolutely terrible I wouldn’t recommend this place to a family what so ever. First off, the google picture is misleading the pic they show is someone else’s place. Then you got to walk down the road more to another hotel to check in. Then the staff you can barely understand and they walk you down to your room which is an alley with only 4 parking spots oh and they make you pay for parking. They say your room is supposed to be ready at 3pm just to walk you down and tell you that you need to wait 20mins for it to be cleaned. And they are very scammy.

Customer service sucks rooms are nice an newer

So check in is terrible. Got to the property looking all over for somwhere to park theres nothing so after driving around for 40 plus minutes on the 4th of july. Finally got somwhere to park!!! Look all over and theres no office. So i call the number whos been calling me all week requesting more money an she goes ohhh you have to go to a different motel to check in. So we drive there. And she gives us the key. So fast forward to night time we are looking for ice. I walk down to the other motel theres a sign on the door to call someone so i call and she says oh ill deliver some to you. This is at 11pm 12am comes an goes so i call she says im coming im coming. 1am rolls around i call again she says shes all out of ice so i throw a fit and she brings me ice Finally around 125am like why not just tell me ur not bringing me the ice

Our experience with the Rio was absolutely terrible. We were unable to stay due to illegal actities and a violent situation occurring in the room next us. The yelling was too loud to be tuned out and one individual saying he was fine with going back to jail. This was not a safe environment for anyone let alone with two young children who were frightened. We tried to work with management for a solution and they offered a take it or leave stance with only a partial refund, but proceeded to charge the full amount anyway.
