The hotel is old and does need some upgrades. The bathroom floor needs new grout. The location is great and children were enjoying the small beach. Hot tub and pool are very nice, along with the fishing and sunset pier. This was our third stay here so overall I give it a 4/5 due to the amenities and location.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Cute beach area, although you are not on the ocean. Pool was clean but so many kids! Room was very clean, but shower curtains were old, and stained. No idea why they weren't changed. Surely they can't be expensive to replace. Beautiful dock with chairs. In a nice area near beaches.

Although the hotel could use a facelift, and some superficial updating, it was clean, the bed was comfy, the staff were friendly and the location; right on the water with a beach, pool , hot tub and gazebo out on the water, was fantastic!

We’ve stayed at a number of places in Fort Pierce and St. Lucie and The Hutchinson was one of the nicer ones. Beds were good, wi-fi okay, and everything worked well. Basic breakfast included in room cost. Washer and dryer on location. A couple of fun restaurants that are walkable. The best parts were the hotel’s small pool, private beach and fishing pier and the covered deck…great places to sit and relax. We’d stay again.
