When we are in Puebla, Casona de la China Poblana is our home away from home. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The upper courtyard area is fantastic. Quiet, relaxing, and with great views of nearby colonial buildings. The restaurant is also top notch, with classic Mexican breakfasts their speciality. With only about 7 rooms, this is perfect for an extended family.

This is an amazing and gorgeous hotel. This historic property has been updated with modern comfort. Each room is distinct and beautiful. The location could not be better for exploring central historic Puebla by foot. The staff were gracious, helpful and absolutely lovely. If you are visiting Puebla, this is the place to stay.

Very friendly staff. No problem checking in early. Very early in fact. Love Puebla and have visited many times and ate at the restaurant here but this was the first time lodging. One of the oldest places in Puebla but had all modern facilities. A 2 minute walk to the Zocalo.

Our stay at the Casona de la China Poblana Boutique Hotel was excellent! The staff is very hospitable and friendly, always willing to help, starting from Citlali, the 2 Verónicas, Fernando, Jose, Valeria, Elizabeth and Miguel. Since we arrived they upgraded our room to a larger, very nice and super clean one. They welcomed us with a margarita and the included breakfasts are a delight. We will definitely book again at this hotel, which is very close to the main square (zocalo) where the best places to visit in Puebla are.

Loved this hotel, close to the square. Staff was super friendly. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Cookies, comp water, fruit juice and fresh fruit were a lovely touch in the room. AC worked great. Breakfast was lovely. Drinks were on par. Only issue was we were locked out of the hotel for 15 mins. on a Saturday night in the rain at 10:45pm. We had a late dinner reservation and we rang the door bell and clicked the knocker several times. We had to call the main hotel line several times to gain enterance. Location was excellent.

1.- Estacionamiento., La persona insiste mucho en que deje la llave, cuando claramente busque hotel que no tuviera esa condición. 2.- Explique la situación en recepción y mal el asistente ya que dice que así debe ser, aún cuando le invite a revisar en expedia donde dice que no es con valet. 3.- 7pm ya no hay restaurante, aún cuando mi intención era no salir, tuve que hacerlo para buscar donde cenar. Habitación bien, promedio y acorde a lo pagado.

La arquitectura del hotel es muy adoc a lo que se encuentra en el centro de Puebla siguiendo con la línea de edificios a su alrededor, la ubicación es muy buena, los principales puntos importantes del centro quedan muy accesibles caminando y segura por la noches, el personal muy atento y amable, no tuvimos problemas con los servicios que ofrecen ni de ningún tipo.

Me gustó mucho el hotel, el personal es muy amable y las instalaciones te hacen sentir en otra época y la habitación que nos tocó era súper amplia y muy cómoda y equipada. Lamentablemente tuvieron un inconveniente y el día que nos hospedamos no hubo agua caliente pero se desvivieron en atenciones para compensarlo. Conclusión vale la pena visitarlo y si volvería.
