This is a lovely place and location cannot be better. You can walk everywhere. It's just opposite the main cathedral. Staff is friendly and really helpful. Sam at the reception is very approachable and helpful. I had a great stay. Highly recommend

We hit the jackpot when we made a last minute reservation in Heidelberg. We knew we wanted to be in walking distance of the Christmas Markets and had no idea this building is so historic and the second most photographed building in Heidelberg. We were literally steps away from the Markets and all the shopping. The hotel itself is beautiful and our room was very comfortable. The only slightly annoying thing was it was difficult to find anyone at reception; it seems maybe there have a staff shortage. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

This place is very old and was obviously renovated in the 90's and not much has been done since. However the staff is so nice, the history of the building and location cannot be beat! If you come and stay here, just know you will have to park in parking garage 12 and walk about 5 min to h hotel. I wish the room was a little bigger, a little more updated, and a little better stocked, but I would stay here again for sure!

They were more than happy to offer tips on local attractions and dining options. Breakfast at the hotel was lovely, offering a variety of fresh and tasty options in a cozy, elegant setting. The restaurant also serves delicious traditional German dishes for dinner, and the ambiance is perfect for a relaxing meal after a day of sightseeing. Staying at Hotel zum Ritter St. Georg was like stepping back in time while still enjoying modern comforts. I highly recommend it for anyone visiting Heidelberg, especially those who appreciate history and charm.

Romantic, beautiful hotel in the heart of the Altstadt. If you get a room facing the front of the hotel, spectacular view of the cathedral. Great, friendly staff. Only negatives are that they do not have air-conditioned rooms and the bathroom (and shower) is tiny.

Ein sehr in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Habe dreimal dort angerufen und um Rückruf gebeten, da ich ein Zimmer reservieren wollte. Dies geschah nicht habe dann über EXPEDIA gebucht. Rezeption eigentlich nie besetzt! Während der Hauptzeit des Frühstücks wird im Saal geputzt und gesaugt. Schade hab ich mir wirklich anders vorgestellt.

Skønt ophold på et hotel med en god historie. Hotellet ligger perfekt for oplevelser i Heidelberg. Sød betjening, god restaurant, fin morgenmad - ikke det overdådige - men fin. Desværre havde vi et værelse uden air-con, og det var en varm dag/nat. Vi kommer helt sikkert tilbage hertil.
