The Sylvia is a historic Vancouver waterfront hotel on English Bay. The dining room and pub both look out at the beach and promenade where there is lots of activities year-round. Staff and service are excellent.

I've stayed many times at The Sylvia

Always enjoy staying at The Sylvia. Love the quiet and quaint location. Right by the seawall, Stanley Park, and restaurants. Love that it's a boutique hotel and an historical landmark; photos of stories long passed displayed throughout the hotel.The staff are warm and friendly and provide exceptional service. I've stayed many times. Yes I highly recommend.

This is a great base when visiting family in the West End of the city, walkable to most areas, used Taxis to get around and evo car share app. Stanley park just around the corner and English bay right in front of the hotel.
