The layout of the room was great. It was 10 to 15 min from universal studios and Hollywood walk of fame and the Hollywood sign. The staff was friendly, but the wifi was spotty and the breakfast was ok, it was mostly sweet snacks, cereal and oatmeal and coffee, was expecting more. The stay was pleasant.

The internet was fine. We enjoyed the location and it was very clean and secure. They have spent a lot of time renovating the property and it shows. We were taken aback by how spacious the room was and how clean the place was. Unfortunately the wifi was down during our stay. But they offered a gracious discount for future stays. Continental breakfast offered. I would recommend getting a new toaster as it took a bit and still didn't toast as much as I would've liked it to be. Our sink water temp was not working properly, it was either super hot or cold, however, I forgot to report it, FYI, it was room 124. Location was conveniently located and near the freeway. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Portofino Inn for a nice, clean, quiet stay!
