This is a very old motel that is lacking adequate parking. There was a very strong smell of natural gas in the parking area which, fortunately, did not permeate the motel room. Rooms are large but dated. Significant road noise comes in throughout the night. Very poor water pressure in the shower and unclean shower curtain. Bottle top was found on the floor indicating a lack of thorough cleaning. Even with the cheap-ish price, I would not return to this property.

A little gem at a very reasonable price. Large, clean, quiet and very well equipped rooms with stove, fridge and microwave. Large comfortable bed with clean sheets. Great location for Brenham, Burton, Roundtop and vicinity. Simple breakfast is just toast, cereal, muffins and fruit but it’s included in the price. We’d definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.
