Room was nice enough. We booked pretty last minute just a few days before, for $450 I would not say this hotel was great. Pool was largely out of the sun except for peak day, otherwise in the shadows most of the day. Thankfully beach was close by. Not allowed to bring food/drink to the pool, nor was there any food offerings from the hotel at the pool. Didn't see a single person eating at their restaurant aside from breakfast. Room was nice enough, however AC was horrible. Room would never cool down and my wife and I definitely struggled with how hot it was (from up North so maybe fine for those used to warmer rooms). Lowest the AC would set to was 66, but it would kick off at 69 degrees and never actually stay on for more than 3-5 minutes at a time. Considerably cooler at night outside so this was frustrating and made for not the best sleep and very "stuffy" air. No rental car for us so we walked everywhere which is fine, we're active, strip of restaurants starts about a mile away, Target was about 1.5 miles away, Whole Foods 2 miles, Publix a little under a mile. We walked about 60 miles in the 5 days we were there. Would stay here again for the right price, felt more like a $250 dollar hotel, not $450.
