Stunning location with beautiful ocean views. The rooms at Sands are quite basic compared to the adjacent Cavalier. The prices (fair) reflect that. As far as I could tell they're one and the same property. Kind of like Toyota is to Lexus! You get full access to all the magnificent amenities whichever one you stay at. Pools, hot tub, restaurant are all excellent. The fire pits situated right on the bluffs are a perfect way to end one's night. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sands and look forward to returning.

The room was clean, comparable to a motel 6. The room service was nice, the staff was prompt and friendly. The main perk is this hotel shares the same grounds and accommodations as The Cavalier Resort. The evening staff were very welcoming and attentive. Loved the fresh baked cookies at check-in. The morning staff weren't rude, just not as enthusiastic as the others. Wi-Fi was good. The attached restaurant was amazing, also is where your room service comes from. Would definitely recommend and visit again, this is a good budget and family friendly choice.
