This is a really good place to stay at the Jersey Shore. It's not on the beach, and it's not luxurious, but it's very clean, well maintained, very friendly staff/management and it's fairly reasonably priced compared to the high dollar places closer to the beach for which you might pay quite a bit more for the same quality room.

Very simple, wonderfully old-school roadside motel 'down the shore'. Reminds of me of the similar places I stayed as a kid, and the experience as an adult was similarly excellent. The SG Lodge has an excellent location and is nicely maintained by the owner/staff. Others might recommend modernizing everything, but that would detract from the charm. Definitely a solid place to stay while in the area.

This family owned lodge had everything you need to be comfortable with your family in a very clean, cozy and quiet location. The owners were very quick to help us with an issue we had and were super accommodating. I will be staying here again in future trips! Highly recommend this place!
