They have an easy to use pancake/waffle station with unlimited coffee every morning and a gorgeous kitchen to use at your discretion. The best way to describe this property is quaint. It is very basic, but very comfortable. If you are looking for a convenient place to spend a night or two, this is it. If you stay out in a cabin, trailer or yurt, you get the Alaska experience of an outhouse, although there are warm, clean bathrooms and shower facilities in the main lodge. On my list for places to stay in Seward.

The two-night stay was great, in a calm and quiet place, even though it was close to the Alaska Railway. The room was tidy and functional, the service was excellent, and the owner was a wonderful person. The location was very close to Exit Glacier, one of Seward's land attractions. Oh, the stay reminded me of my childhood and youth scouting days.
