Modest hotel, good price - quality ratio

I arrived late at night. Everyone was nice, and most of the staff could speak Spanish and English in addition to their native Portuguese. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place looked a little old, but that’s not a bad thing to me because, as I said, they were clean and comfortable. I’ll stay there in a future visit to Rio.

Only one elevator was working. Since there are 13 floors and people going on and off, you had to wait a very long time to use it. Not very clean with the toilet paper being stained upon arrival. The staff was not helpful either.

My experience at Hotel Atlântico Tower was very disappointing, especially during check-out. I had a night flight and asked if I could wait in the lobby or use some of the facilities after checking out, as I had a long wait ahead. I wasn't even asking for a room — just somewhere to stay comfortably while I was still a guest in the country. I was also willing to consume something inside the hotel (food, drinks, etc.). Despite this, the staff were completely unhelpful and even rude in their tone. They didn’t offer any support or alternatives and made it very clear I wasn’t welcome to stay. To make things worse, they charged me to store my suitcase — something that many hotels offer as a courtesy. Their customer service was seriously lacking, and they didn’t seem to know how to handle simple guest requests. Also, during my stay, I had asked for my room to be cleaned, but when I came back later, it was exactly as I had left it — dirty and untouched. No explanation, no adjustment, nothing. It felt like they simply didn’t care about guest comfort at all. This was the last hotel I stayed at in Rio de Janeiro, and unfortunately, it left a very bad impression just before leaving the country. For the price they charge, I expected much better service and a more professional attitude. I do not recommend Hotel Atlântico Tower, and I really hope they improve their customer service and basic hospitality standards.

Quarto era bem grande e espaçoso com uma mesa para trabalhar, o banheiro tinha um tamanho bom porém a porta estava muito gasta, fazia barulho e tinha manchas por ela toda. As luzes do corredor do quarto não funcionavam. A área da piscina é ótima, confortável, bem limpa, gostei. No café da manhã tinha variedades, mas não estavam nota 10, poderia melhorar. No mais, a estadia foi bem tranquila e eu voltaria.

Bom, primeiramente alugamos o hotel pelo simples fato de ter piscina, e chegando na mesma ela estava interditada, só colocaram um aviso na portaria após avisarmos que não sabíamos da informação, pois se não não teríamos nos hospedado no mesmo. Os atendentes foram simpáticos mas a acomodação em si não estava de acordo com oque alugamos, Wi-Fi não funciona, televisão não funciona, música altíssima no ambiente da piscina. Experiência pessima, não voltaremos nunca no mesmo.

A localização do hotel não é boa, muitos moradores de rua muito próximo ao hotel, atendimento de alguns funcionários não foi satisfatório acredito que devido a quantidade muito grande de hóspedes. A sauna não funciona, a TV não tem nenhum acesso a aplicativos "Netflix, YouTube". A academia é bem pequena.
