Very strange night staff. Area is sketchy too. When I arrived at night, there was a city tax fee of 1.80 e to be paid. No issue… except I didn’t have cash on me and the card machine was not working well. Instead of good service (allow me to pay that tiny fee when machine worked.) , the man refused to let me check in for the already paid room until the tiny fee was paid. He made me go walk to find an ATM in the cold to then pay him in cash. So rude and unnecessary. Also, hotel design very poor… don’t book this place! No curtain in showers or ledges. Very noisy banging all night. No outlets near bed for devices. Only a few by the workstation table. Tiny towels for infants, and no face cloths.

The staff was lovely. What I may have missed in the reviews is two primary issues. 1. The hotel is used to house refugees, no issues with that other than they are on different floors but were extremely loud above my room. 2. The internet had massive bandwidth in mid afternoon but at night couldn't even support a Zoom video. Too much demand, impossible to do anything but email.

Dieses Hotel hat mir deutlich vor Augen geführt, wie gross der Unterschied zwischen Anspruch und Realität sein kann. Positiv hervorzuheben gibt es nur wenige Punkte: Das Bett war sauber, bequem und die Matratzen lagen ohne störenden Spalt aneinander. Auch das Personal an der Rezeption war freundlich und hilfsbereit – höflich, korrekt und bemüht, was in diesem Umfeld fast schon herausstach. Damit ist die Liste der positiven Aspekte jedoch vollständig. Der Gesamtzustand des Hotels ist schlecht. Die Einrichtung ist nicht nur alt, sondern sichtbar vernachlässigt. Wände sind beschädigt, teilweise hängen Verkleidungen heraus. Die Teppiche in den Zimmern und auf den Stockwerken sind abgenutzt, kaputt und wirken ungepflegt. Hier wurde seit Jahren nichts mehr wirklich instand gehalten. Der Sanitärbereich war besonders unerquicklich. Der WC-Filter bestand faktisch aus einem offenen Loch – hygienisch unhaltbar und eine klare Einladung für Insekten. Das WC selbst wirkte zwar einmal renoviert, war aber dennoch defekt. Renoviert heisst hier offensichtlich nicht funktionsfähig. Am schlimmsten war jedoch der Geruch. Zimmer, Gänge, Lift und sogar die Rezeption waren von einem penetranten Fischgeruch erfüllt – verdorben, abgestanden, fast schon verwest. Dieser Gestank zog sich durch den gesamten Aufenthalt und vermittelte permanent ein Gefühl von Unsauberkeit.

Nous avons pris 2 chambres avec petit déjeuner pour 2 nuits. Nous entendons bruyamment les voisins rentré à 4 h du matin. Pas de parking sauf payant en suppléments du tarif hôtel. Le petit-déjeuner minimaliste, aucune céréales pour les enfants. Juste un panier posé sur la table avec de la baguette un croissant et un mini pain au chocolat. Je n’y reviendrai plus
