Employees are lovely and service is incredible. Shout out to Lexon in the lounge! It’s much quieter than being located on the harbour if you’re sensitive to noise. Towels could use replacing and shower was as hot and cold as my ex mother in-law lol. Ending on a positive note, the food is next level and personal touches cannot be overlooked. Shangri-La Vancouver was an exceptional stay with respectful staff, a large room size for two, and a location at the heart of downtown. The daily evening service was appreciated, with kind staff and many complimentary goods. The included breakfast at Carlino (bib gourmand) also had a calm ambiance, alongside its great menu and city view. It was walking distance from most if not all the prominent landmarks and locations of the downtown area.
