Excellent location. Our room was spacious, had a large sitting couch and was very clean. We have stayed in three Apex hotels on our Trip to Scotland and London and I would highly recommend them all.

10/10 Exceptional

The location was perfect with their being a hop-on, hop-off bus stop directly across the streets, the royal mile within close walking distance, and a major car rental close by as well. Everything was nice overall at the hotel as well and the food/drinks served are of good quality though a bit pricey.

We had such a lovely stay at The Apex, Waterloo Place. Our room and bathroom were fabulous, though we did report the light not working on the way in that wasn’t rectified during our stay. The breakfast was exceptional and staff so helpful. We had a fab time visiting the spa. Location is fantastic for locality to the town centre. We would definitely add this great hotel for any future stays.

8/10 Very good

Great breakfast, wonderful staff and really good location. My only negative comment is the pull down blinds were quite tattered and safe wasn’t working on check in but they replaced safe door right away and taped up blinds to provide darkness in room. They were very responsive to my room issues and everyone I met was beyond nice and helpful. The Scottish breakfast was wonderful!! I 1000% appreciate that they provided my requested room! Thank you!! I will stay there next year because they are such good people!! And good room!

Had a wonderful time and experience at Apex Hotels. Travelled alone with my 3 year old daughter, and we were welcomed with the nicest surprise - balloons! My daughter absolutely loved it and that start to our stay made it absolutely amazing. The pool was great, the bed comfy and the staff exceptional!

Located across the street from bus stop, walking distance to major transportation hub, bridge to Old Town, shopping, restaurants, museums, and more. I chose this hotel because it has air con & a king sized bed.

10/10 Exceptional

Really nice hotel; very polite, friendly and helpful staff. Room was nice: it had a separate bath and shower. Made full use of the pool (small and oddly shaped, but sufficient for a dip), sauna (which was nice and hot) and gym (small, but top quality technogym equipment and more than enough to get a good workout. Breakfast was also good. Can’t really fault it, other than two single beds pushed together to make a double bed, but they easily slid apart.
