The property felt safe, parking well lit, and the staff was friendly, but the room smelled like a nursing home, the bed was hard as a rock (no sleep) — barely a notch above sleeping on the floor, the pillows were terrible, the toilet hummed of a plumbing problem, there was mold on the ceiling and it was clear that the ceiling had been scraped down or wiped hard for mold before. Even people in the hall noted some rooms were in disrepair. As a Bonvoy member, I have stayed at many Fairfield Inns and they have been comfortable. This property seems like it’s in a major transition and hasn’t gone from old to anew yet. My family will not return to this property.

The staff, breakfast and booking were all amazing. And, there is nothing wrong with an older hotel. However, the rooms need to be updated. The wallpaper is yellowed and stained, the carpeting has stains and there are cracks everywhere. It's not dirty. But Marriot can CERTAINLY afford these sorts of upgrades.

We were very happy with our experience. The hotel is clean with no noted signs of wear in spite of learning that a reno is planned. Staff was very friendly. If you stay there, plan to be greeted for breakfast by Miss May who presents a lovely buffet. Will rebook for our return trip.

The hotel was generally pretty clean, and the room itself was fine. However, the bathroom had visible mildew that appeared to be leftover from previous stays. I was also concerned to notice black mold and wet particles inside the heat/AC vent. Thankfully, I didn’t see this until we were leaving, but it’s something management should address promptly for guest health and safety.

I liked that the hotel was so close to 95. The lobby was clean and the registration process was efficient. The room was disappointing. Traces of mold around bathtub with bugs in the bathroom light fixture. Conditioner was ineffective on my hair. No body lotion supplied. Room was very quiet. No tea available in my room. We have stayed at this hotel a few times over the past few years and it has gone down hill. I am glad that they are going to renovate the Hotel as it is very dated. We enjoy our Gold status at Marriott hotels but we wont plan to stay at this hotel until the renovation is complete. Side Note: The employees at this hotel are excellent!
