Quirky gem but has some pit falls
Great vibe and aesthetic. Check in easy and friendly staff. I was in building 1 across the street. The quiet pool was fabulous and the roof top pool on main building small but also good. The suite was large and nice as well as coffee and water in the upgrade building 1.
I know it’s a beach hotel but since it is a 4 average block walk (technically 2) it would have been nice to have amenities to get a drink or service. There is a small store across the street so you could go buy snacks or drinks for by the pool.
Colombian restaurant food was poor and service was non-existent with an included 20% to walk to bar to order my own meal. So much potential with free “happy hour” but it’s 1 drink and with one bartender waited 40 mins and no drink.
Unfortunately for me there is a very busy club open until 0400 that half of building 2 faves combimed with parties in the suites it was so loud and ruined a great little hotel stay.
I would stay again and in the suites but not facing out and hope that staff could help tame other guest.
