Overall the stay was ok, not terrible but not great. At no point did we encounter an innkeeper or a housekeeper. Check-in was done on our own. There was a code for the outside door and a key left in the room’s door. This was ok. But not having an innkeeper on site made the stay feel very cold. There was a cook who made breakfast each day strictly at 9am. This person barely spoke, did not welcome us to the Inn, no recommendations on places to go, etc And the food was actually awful! A muffin cut in two was on a plate on each table. 1/2 for each of us only. Then the cook would come out with plates of cold food. The dishes actually smelled awful like they were not being sanitized in a dishwasher. The eggs were cold. The potatoes were diced into tiny bits and mixed with a ton of breadcrumbs. Very strange. They were not good. Tiny fruit cup again with tiny bits of different fruits. Strange plant based sausage patties were horrible. Everything was cold. Coffee was cold. They also gave us dry toast and offered no butter. We literally had to go get a different breakfast on both days. Both days pretty much the same food.
Now the shower head. It was installed in ceiling and could not be adjusted unless you were 6 ft tall. The water was so light and slow I could barely rinse the soap off!
The bed has a sheet and a very thin quilt. There were zero extra blankets and I woke in the night freezing. I had to sleep in a sweatshirt!
Parking easy. Location good. Very quiet.
