Nice room with good views over Morcombe bay. Windows old sash windows a bit drafty and noisy but central heating was good so room was warm. Bar downstairs that serves drinks and food. Car park with plenty of room next to it but need to pay between 8am and 6pm.

The main reason for leaving a low review was because the shower didn’t work. There was a note in the bathroom saying that the water pressure could be low at busy times, but we never found times that weren’t busy as the shower didn’t work period. The room was also very cold. The radiator was only half warm. I think a simple bleeding oh the radiator could have fixed that. I came back with a cold. I wouldn’t stop again

Very friendly staff and a lovely room (Captains Quarters). We stayed for one night with breakfast and cannot fault the hotel or staff, the bar has two outside areas for sitting in the sun and the room was clean and obviously recently modernised with a brilliant view over the estuary to Morecambe, breakfast was brilliant and the service from the chef was excellent, can't fault this place and would highly recommend
