whilst the hotel was under refurbishment ,our room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. We had a medical emergency during our stay and the staff were excellent with their concern and assistance, for which we were thankful. In view of this, we would consider using the hotel again in the future

This really doesn't look like the pictures. Walls scuffed, chairs really dirty. The bathroom walls need a scrub, mould and yellow/orange stains and a dirty shower curtain. We literally stayed for 7 hours to sleep on the way to somewhere else so it wasn't the end of the world. The bedroom was ok and we slept fine.

They're having work done so amenities listed on the site aren't actually open. No bar, no restaurant and it's a bit isolated, you need to be able to drive somewhere for food. Skeleton staff. The management need to employ an appropriate number of staff. Reception often isnt manned with a notice up and during breakfast, the one staff member is serving people and doing reception which is in a completely different place. My room was run down with a constantly running tap. Definitely wouldn't stay here again. Hopefully it'll improve when the refurb is finished. The listing should be sognificantly updated and make it clear what is actually available on site. I'd not have booked if I knew I couldn't get food. Due to disability, I have to plan my energy carefully and this knocked me significantly.

I walked into a building site. No ceiling in reception just cables etc hanging down. No restaurant. No bar. Room I booked was a suite which was meant to have a separate seating area. The room I got wasn’t like this. The door frames were all chipped. The walls had paint peeling. I asked for a refund and found somewhere else. No where does it state in their website the condition of the hotel.

Staff was nice , room was a bit scuffed with water marks on the walls but no mold or damp ( like someone tossed a bottle of water to the wall and stained the paint ) , some of the furniture was well used.
