Kind of a spooky neighborhood and an awkward reception. It’s about a mile from downtown San Juan. I suppose if you’re a super budget traveler it’s not bad.

While this hotel was very basic, it met all our needs. It was extremely clean! I did find the pillows to be too firm for my liking. I appreciate the safety measures with multiple keypad doors.

Wow where do I start? The room was TINY and had no balcony and barely any windows. There was NO HOT WATER and the hotel explained to us that it was because it was solar powered heating and that the sun had not been out enough, but this is truly unacceptable. The check in person was aloof and didnt help with our luggage which we had to carry 3 floors since there is no elevator. To top it all off, the windows dont have screens so if you want fresh air you will be bitten ny mosquitos all night. Oh and they didnt clean our rooms or provide maid service even though we stayed two nights. We had to ask for fresh towels. Awful from start to finish.

Area was less than safe. The room was very small. No elevator, had to carry luggage up and down stairs. No nearby restaurants or stores. The shower did not have hot water. It was warm at best. The furniture was in poor conditions. Could not flush toilet paper. Had to put used toilet paper in the trash. The check-in was two blocks from the actual room. I do not recommend this hotel.

The room floor was dirty, and the bathroom fittings were poorly maintained. Otherwise, it’s suitable for a one- or two-night stay. The location is convenient—close to Old San Juan, Condado Beach, and the T-Mobile Arena.

The staff was wonderful. Friendly and helpful. The room was disappointing. Our first night, we were placed in a TINY room that didnt reflect the pics. The manager was gracious and moved us to a better room the next night. No hot water was available and the AC was either full on and freezing or had to turn off. The only saving grace was the staffs kindness.

The walk outside to get to my room and luggage watch was a bummer. The soap holder came off the wall. Overall, a good value. Just need a night before the cruise, walking distance to the old city port.
