It took us a few minutes to find the door but when we did there was a very warm welcome. The receptionist spoke great English and gave us lots of tips. This hotel is in a great location. You will feel like you’re staying in a medieval part of town. The staff is also exceptional; everyone was very helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, we left after the first night of our 3-night stay. I booked this hotel based on the recommendation. The hotel was mentioned as full of old-world charm and loads of character. All true! But our room was cramped and the bathroom was also quite small. Additionally, the “old-world charm” smell of the wood and the room itself gave my sister horrible allergies. The staff offered to move us to another room, but it would not change the odors emanating from the wood. We checked out and moved to a different hotel. Wish we could have stayed for the duration of our trip as the hotel really is in a perfect spot.
