Hotel was modern, clean and friendly. However there was extremely limited food options, the restaurant was closed most of the stay and the bar menu was essentially pita bread or a burger…there are no options near by for any alternative places to eat.

Excellent hotel. I was able to arrange for an early check in. Yummy breakfeast. Free shuttle from the airport. I was going to take a taxi from Bonn airport but the taxi drivers said a taxi works for the hotel. I just had to give my receipt in. Very good beds,quiet but tge covers were too hot and thus tge room was too hot. Great service.

We had to be at the airport for our trip by 4:30 am the next ay and selected this hotel for an early start. It was convenient for that, but not as a place for an extended stay in Cologne. It is a newer hotel so all the areas and the dining areas are great.

Lovely hotel - read for shuttle advice

Convenient stay near Koln-Bonn airport. Hotel offers a free shuttle which you must call once you are through immigration for pick up. Unfortunately the shuttle drove past us multiple times and didn’t see us frantically waving so we got a taxi which the hotel offered to reimburse us for. I would recommend walking to your left as you exit the terminal building and wait before the taxi rank so that you’re easier to spot. The shuttle will also take you from the hotel to the train station for free. The room itself was clean and nicely decorated. We had a comfortable night and a nice stay. Would recommend.

It is/was a nice, beautiful and pleasant hotel. We were a party of 6, divided up in 2 superior rooms at different floors and because of security measures, we couldn't visit each other. There weren't 3 beds per room as booked but 2 beds and a sleeping couch. There's free Wi-Fi available but at room 136 where we stayed, there wasn't any viable signal and the Wi-Fi should be protected with a password, with guest access only. We didn't had breakfast at the hotel. €23,= euro per person, per day, is to much for what you consume in the morning. Parking in the garage is €15,= euro per day, that should be free for guests. You can park outside but there weren't much parking spaces available. Besides all that, we had a great 2 day stay. For what you have to pay, I recommend this hotel. It's nearby the airport, you have nearby shops and the city center of Cologne is a quarters drive away

Urine on loo seat and bathroom not cleaned.

The first booking went well. The return one was terrible. I checked into my room and the loo seat was up. Odd do thought. Also the loo roll didn't have the "point" that they have when been cleaned. Then I saw that there was urine all over the seat. Disgusting. The bathroom had nut bene cleaned at all. I went to reception and they changed my room. Lovely reception girl and the girl that looked after me with the rooms changes provided excellent customer service. Can't fault the staff at all. Excellent. The 2nd room was very hot and the staff member and myself could not get the A/C to work. So 3rd room later and whilst there was hair in the shower, the bathroom seemed to have even earned and the A/C was set to a lower temperature. Still too warm and big able to change it. They really need to sort that out. The next morning I woke early to grab some breakfast to bring up to room so that I'd isn't miss my breakfast but could go back to sleep. The older lady in the breakfast room was awful. I asked for a tray to take my food up and she rudely said to me " we dont do that here" and refused to give me a tray. I went to reception and spoke to the reception manager who delay with this very quickly and brought me a tray. All in all, a very unsatisfactory return stay. Such a shame as I was happy in the first stay.

At the arrival we got a bit of a shock because of the area we found ourselves in… the hotel is located in the middle of a strange container settlement with overgrown gardens full of discarded trash, not really a welcoming sight… but hotel itself was a pleasant surprise with its modern, but comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. Being just freshly opened, there is still construction site smell lingering around. There is a restaurant on site serving dinner, but we opted for dinner at the bar, because it serves more regular food. The portions there are enormous, so I would suggest to restrain yourselves from ordering appetisers, it just gets too much! Breakfast buffet is rich and nicely organised, all tastes covered! And now we come to the negative part… I do hope this is due to the hotel being new and that in few weeks it will all come to be and work the way it is supposed to be…. Breakfast buffet is horribly understaffed; tables are being cleaned with a huge delay, only one person covering the task. Another one is struggling to keep the buffet full and running… these same people are also “guarding” the entrance to the buffet with not the smoothest manners, asking people if they really booked the breakfast with their reservation before actually checking their list… there is no quick check out, so be prepared to wait about 30 minutes if you are unlucky like us to try and leave at “rush hour”… fingers crossed these are only start up hiccups!
