The construction was unfortunate and we were not told about it. There should have been a discount on pricing for appearance and lack of working front doors. We also very much disliked the elevator system and could tell other patrons were not happy either. Breakfast was good, clean. This hotel is super close to Times Square & short walk to Broadway shows & Rockefeller. We were able to exit hotel & walk to the end of the block & be in TS. It was a short walking distance to/from the subway. They have daily breakfast which was a huge plus. There was some construction going on in the lobby area, but not so bad. They did hold our luggage at n/c since we arrived few hours before check in. The elevator situation wasn't too bad, but they would fill up. They have a bar upstairs so we just went to check out the view one night. The room was clean. We had a queen bed & sofa bed. It is a small room, but for 3 adults we were okay & managed. Our view wasn't great, but it was fine. We were exhausted after our days. It did have a small fridge, microwave, sink, & dishes. Overall I'd stay again.

This is our second stay. This property is very convenient to Times Square, trains, Broadway. It's on a busy street but super quiet rooms. Staff is friendly. Breakfast and elevators can be difficult during peak times but with planning it works fine. Bodega across the street well stocked and very friendly... pizza close by.
