My first priority is cleanliness, & that gets a 10/10. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were a little flat. No food options in the hotel. Teas, coffee, water in room for free. There is a lovely pub a short few minutes walk away & 2 grocery markets. North Ealing tube station is about a 5 min. walk from hotel. This is the Piccadilly line which takes you directly to Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden, etc.
The staff are super friendly, and accomodating. My TV didn't work in my very small single room, so the lady on the desk that night upgraded me to another room, which was much larger. She even helped me move all my stuff that I had already unpacked. I neglected to ask her name, but she'll know who she is if she remembers the tired Canadian, who just wanted to veg out on her first night in England.
Ealing Broadway has many shops, including M&S, and restaurants is about a 20 min walk from the hotel. I can't speak for parking as I didn't use a car.
Ealing seems like a safe area, the hotel was great, and everyone I met was friendly and helpful.
