A really great spot. Very clean. Pleasant rooms in an amazing setting right on the beach. The staff are excellent and really made this extra special. Jessie at the front desk is wonderful. The cafe staff too. Good food - try the fried shrimp! Also the avocado toast is so good. Great beach laid-back island vibes all round.

We spent 7 nights and for the price it’s a good place. Pros were the staff, cleanliness and the beach club was great. Cons were the beach was not great (much better beaches east of town), pools were kinda dirty because there were a lot of kids while we were there. During the day we visited other beach clubs that were more adult oriented to escape the screaming kids. We learned a lot on our first trip and will definitely spend a little more to have a better area and some nicer amenities

The hotel is right on the beach which is lovely, with beautiful birds and trees all around. The staff was extremely nice and helpful too, and the hotel is in a good quiet location but still an easy walk to the center of town and activities. The amenities could have been a little more luxurious--the instant coffee in the room, for example, could be improved. The food in the hotel restaurant was atrocious, unfortunately, so plan to eat elsewhere.

We loved our stay at HAU Holbox. We especially loved that we were close to the centre but not so close that we had all the noise and busy of the centre. The staff was great at the hotel, especially Jessica who was warm and friendly & very helpful.
