Room was very clean. Staff was very nice at check-in and really went out of their way to make the room special for our honeymoon. However, at checkout, we asked for a 30 minute extension and that was refused. You would think they could be slightly flexible because 30 minutes would have made the biggest difference. They also did not have a a safe place to keep our baggage. We see this occasionally in Asia and it does not make western travelers feel very safe. I was just expected to leave all of my luggage in the lobby and their response was that there is a camera but if somebody wants to take something, it’s going to be long gone even if a Camera is able to spot the person. Lastly, we came back after a day of walking around and tried to lay at the pool and we’re told that we could not use the daybed because they were cleaning up to get ready for dinner. It’s a little frustrating as a guest of the hotel, not to be able to use the beds next to the pool at any time- particularly 5:30pm.

We recently stayed for 3 nights in one of the bungalows near to the beach. The room was perfect for a short stay in Chaweng - right on the beach, and close to the main bars and restaurants. 100% recommended.

Det her ville jeg selv havde ønsket jeg havde vidst på forhånd ! 1) Det er selvfølgelig en Beach club men denne er det indtil kl 01.00 om natten ! 2) lufthavns fly går direkte ind over hotellet og det larmer meget ca hvert 20-30 minut. Fra ca kl.7 om morgenen 3) poolen er meget lille og de har svært ved at holde den ren man kunne slet ikke se bunden 😬 4) vi boede i en luksus bungalow nr 4 B tættest på poolen og der stod personale hele tiden lige ud for vores terrasse så vi var på ingen måde private . 5) værelserne var pæne og rene og morgenmaden udemærket ingen buffet

Vi havde et ok ophold på Elephant Resort. Værelset var dejlig lyst og rengøring var god. Der var en del tissemyre, men det generede ikke. Det er dog godt at vide, at hotellet ligger et sted hvor du næsten hele døgnet høre fly, lette og lande lige henover hovedet. Den dag vi ankom var poolen så beskidt, at man ikke kunne se bunden, det blev dog bedre efter der blev sat en ekstra pumpe op, på kanten af poolen, som stod og kørte et par dagen. Hotellet ligger meget centralt, og er perfekt for shopping og restaurant besøg i Chaweng.

Great hotel with great staff. The resort is placed in a very vibrant and lively area which we really enjoyed. You will find many great bars nearby. The view from the room was not great. You are overlooking the passage leading to the pool. Also, there is no window but one huge glass door so anyone passing sees your unmade bed, dirty laundry or eventual mess… or you keep the curtains closed. The bed is comfortable and you get complimentary mosquito repellent. Poolarea is nice, there is a lot of sun beds and they are placed very tightly. Note that there are NO sunbeds on the beach. This because of the tide. In the evenings, when the tide is low - they place bean bags on the beach and you can sit/lay there and watch the fireshow. It is really nice to sit there and sip on a drink watching the show and all the people. The breakfast is not a buffet, they have a couple of alternatives that you can choose from. At first we were a bit set back by this, but then we actually came to like it. Since we usually eat the same thing everyday this was no different from a buffet - we got what we wanted, and it was served to us at the table. Note; every Saturday nite they have a club nite/dj party and it is not just loud - it is insanely loud. You will not be able to sleep until they close at 3.00 am. Even with earplugs it will be like they are playing in your room. It was a disaster. Had we known it was that bad, we would not have stayed here during the Saturday, but shorten our stay.

Værelset var lyst og fint, vi boede (heldigvis længst væk fra pool området) da der hver aften var en voldsom larm derfra, samt fra nabo hotellet, men der hvor vi boede, var larmen til at holde ud. Pænt og rent hotel, venligt og hjælpsomt personale og en god morgenmad. Priserne på hotellet er næsten 3 dobbelt i forhold til de alm. restauranter/barer i området, alle regninger bliver tillagt 10% i service fee og 7% i tax, altså 17% tillæg, priserne i områdes restauranter har ikke disse tillæg på mad/drikke. Da vi bookede hotellet, kunne vi læse at med vores Silver fordele, skulle vi have 10% rabat på mad og drikke under vores ophold, dette er så ikke korrekt, men vi fik kun tilbudt 10% på maden, så vi valgte kun at spise frokost der en gang.

Check in was easy but I had to wait for the room to be ready. The resort is a beachfront hotel. However, the rooms has no views of the beach at all. My room has no window. It was just the balcony. And, I I got a room at the very first end and it’s a major walkway that’s why I couldn’t really open my curtains. The room was clean but showing it’s age. Other than that, I liked the ambiance at night. Food and drinks were great. The staff were great.

Generally a good resort with clean rooms and Amazing staff (where not in Thailand!) , however what isn’t emphasized enough is the fact that it’s a beach club meaning that there is a disco beat on from 2pm until 2am. The weekends are even worse when music. Is loud until 3 am! To make things worse the neighbors are also making a lot of noise and it feels like there are trying to outdo eachother! So if you want peace and quietness this is not the place for you! There is also a fire show on every night from 730 pm until 2330 pm (!) and beside the fact that after seeing it once you know the show, you will also smell of petrol all night

Elephant club was a lovely place to stay! The room was spotless. The staff was very kind, friendly and accommodating to everything we needed. We had booked for three days and ended up staying eight because it was such a lovely experience. The pool guys were exceptional and took very good care of us! The front desk, woman, Ganda was very helpful and helped us with a seamless extension. The fire show was very good. It happens every night and there are additional events happening as well. Some of them were later than we wanted to stay up, but it looked like fun was had by all! We will definitely return to this little gem by the sea.

Very loud, crying kids, expensive, my adult child was refused admittance (I was in shower when she tried to join me - staff could have searched for my reservation and allowed admittance), tiny beach that’s non-existent during part of day. Despite clearly explaining my allergies, the breakfast still triggered allergies 2 days. Incredibly disappointing. I was given a free massage as a “fix”
