Room itself was clean, bed very comfortable and an amazing view, however the bathroom needs to be cleaned better. We found some bugs and mould on the grout. Staff were very good, activities were well organised. No sun loungers on the sun deck, which is a shame, as they definitely have the space for some. The food was excellent, fresh and very tasty, however the fact no drinks were included meant we felt slightly ripped off, especially given the prices.

The room was beautiful and offered the most stunning view, which we experienced during the entire trip. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which created a pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, the stay was perfectly fine, though it did not feel particularly exceptional. However, there were a few aspects that could be improved. The quality of the excursions was rather average, and the locations we visited were quite overcrowded with tourists. The meals were acceptable, but the dinner menu felt somewhat mismatched and weird. In addition, the stated schedule was not consistently followed, both by the staff and by some of the guests. This was a bit disappointing, as it affects those who are trying to follow the planned program. It would be helpful if the staff ensured that services were ready at the scheduled times and were more comfortable reminding guests to respect the timetable for the benefit of everyone.

Great cruise option for Ha Long Bay! This one was on the pricier side when looking at options, but you definitely get what you pay for here! We saw some of the other cruise options from Expedia docked when we boarded and felt VERY relieved we had chosen Hermes. The staff were lovely and very accommodating! Overall Ha Long Bay is a tourist destination so keep expectations open, it’s definitely not like the incredible pictures in advertisements (trash everywhere!)
