Great place for affordable price

The place is clean and nice. There is no 24/7 reception but the manager is available by WhatsApp all the time and answered all our questions. Even thought the hotel is not located in the center of Rome, there is a plenty of public transportation around which makes it easy to get anywhere you want. We enjoyed our stay and I would go again.

This is an apartment which has 4 separate locked bedrooms with a shared kitchen area for coffee,water etc, other guests were very quiet, didn’t hear any noise apart from the traffic as we were facing the road, breakfast (packets of bread,croissants, juice bottles,coffee pods etc) is left in your room every morning. You have your own safe, bed is super comfy. It’s about a 10 min walk up hill to the Colosseum, very close. We had a lovely stay.

The hotel's rooms and facilities are nice. Francesca is very helpful. It may just be our bad luck, but there is a lot of noise between the rooms. Guests are important here. If you are a family with children, it may be a problem. Maybe an improvement can be made regarding this. I would choose it again.

Beautiful hotel and a great walking location to the colosseum. Communication with the hosts was clear and friendly. Nice touch having a basket of breakfast stuff and mini fridge in room which is refreshed each day, alongside the self service breakfast & coffee.Which allows for more flexibility

I enjoyed my stay! I was offered snacks especially gf options since I have an allergy. My room was clean and safe and I’m traveling as a single woman. Within waking distance to colosseum. Many options of transit within walking distance. There’s also a grocery store at the end of block! I was pleasantly impressed and I will recommend to friends.

Very handy location, with a supermarket and bus stop just around the corner. Walkable from the train station and all major sites. We didn't meet the hosts but good WhatsApp communication. Breakfast was in the room (there was a mini fridge) with coffee pod machine and toaster in communal hall. Some guests kept using buzzer to get in which was annoying but not the fault of the hosts. Beds comfy and room clean, balcony with clothes airer too.

3-night city break, walking distance to the Centre

We spent 3 nights at Oasi Urbana 41. I chose it because of the friendly price, prime location and the excellent reviews. Instructions were given in advance, and our self-check in went like clockwork. Choice of breakfast options is wide. The mattress gets 10 stars out of 10. Bathroom is modern and well-maintained. Important to mention that the location is perfect for those who love walking. The Colosseum is only about 20 min away on foot. We could hear the traffic a bit from the road below, but the bed was so comfortable and we were so tired at the end of each day that after the first five minutes we couldn't hear anything anyway. I would happily return here.

As there is not a manned desk, it is difficult to drop off luggage early or leave luggage. The shower was very small. They tried to provide a decent breakfast but all the bread and pastries were packaged and the taste of some was just artificial and full of preservatives.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Great location. Francesca and team couldn’t do enough for us and were so lovely and helpful. Very responsive with any questions we had via text. We would definitely come back again. Partner was ill for a few days (therefore they couldn’t get in to clean room) and Francesca made sure we still had new towels, plates and breakfast/drinks.

OASI Urbana 41 This hotel is centrally located, only about 1km from major tourist attractions and the hosts are very communicative. Unfortunately this is the best I can say about the hotel. On entry, it looks like a dingy building and quite old. The exterior is badly maintained. This carries on into the hotel where the walls are all marked, stained and scratched. We had a duvet on our bed without covers. This is unhygienic (when I brought this up with the hosts, they said this is fine as the bed had covers). The point of covers on duvet is to change between guests. we just packed the duvet up and folded it in a corner. The amenities are quite poor, the fridge was at about 10 degrees and USB sockets do not work. The shower door barely opened and fell apart on our last day. The shower cubicle is tiny for even a tiny adult and some light bulbs did not work. The sheets, curtains and bathrooms are stained and just look really worn. As it is central, there is a lot of noise coming from the busy road which in some ways may be difficult to do anything about but perhaps sound proof windows would be a good idea and may reduce the noise a bit. We only stayed for 3 nights and i was ready to leave as soon as I got in. On our last night, the air conditioning failed. I tried to get some resolution from the host/manager without success. We had to open the windows in order to get some ventilation and air, this meant we could barely sleep. Unfortunately we will not be making a return booking.

The property was very clean, breakfast was good, nicely decorated room, walkable distance from St. Giovanni's underground, bus stops and the Coloseum. The host was very friendly and knowledgeable about good spots to eat. The one thing that needed improvement for us was how noisy the room was at night. Italians love to honk their horn at any time of the day and the window of the Silvi room overlooks the main road. I'd highly recommend to bring some earplugs. Other than that, our stay was great.

A must for solo travellers!

Was absolutely perfect for a Solo traveller. They offered a brilliant room service where they regularly cleaned the room and stocked water and snacks in the room. Lovely to come back from a long day of walking to a cleaned room. The temperature in the room was perfect - bearing in mind the temperature in Rome averaged 21 degrees when I went. Communication with the owners/receptionist was easy. About a 12 minute walk from the colosseum and all for such a reasonable price. Would recommend to any solo traveller who wants to go to Rome.
