Excellent stay at the Hansen Inn! The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and nicely updated. The staffvwere incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. Such a cute family owned operation! The room and shared spaces were extremely clean and well kept! You can tell this family takes pride in their hospitality and space. We enjoyed the patio and gazebo with bluetooth speakers and evening lighting. It was nice to have a space to sit down and have a drink and meet fellow travelers. Just a short walk to good meals and shops.

Our stay at the Hansen Inn and cabins was perfect. The hotel is very clean and decorated very nice. The owner was very nice and helpful. The Hansen is in a great location and you can walk to many things. The location to the Badlands was great too. We enjoyed the outdoor patio for a bit too. The rooms are very well-maintained and clean, beds are great but there’s a little noise from adjoining rooms, and while AC through-the-wall units work well, they are old and noisy. Upon arrival for a two-night stay, the hotel had booked us into different rooms for each night which would have meant we had to checkout in the morning and wait to check into a second room. They were unwilling to correct the problem but Hotels.com contacted the hotel and fixed the issue.

This place was top notch, from the great service of Natalie (the owner) and her staff, to the cozy linens and pillows, the clean and updated rooms, and the amenities on site to include an outdoor lounge with WiFi and couches to relax on and have a glass of wine after a long day in the park. Natalie helped us find a place to leave my friend’s dog for the day so he could go into the Badlands. She went above and beyond!

Loved the proximity of Hansen Inn to the Main Street of Wall, SD. Able to walk to Wall Drug and the few eateries in town. The front desk attendant was quite cold when we checked in but...whatever LOL.The room was clean. The walls ARE thin...while we didn't hear anything out of the ordinary there was always a chance. Loved not having to keep track of a room key.
