Stay was fine. Free parking if you have a car. Room was okay, ended up finding a dead cockroach. Only downside is if your room is on the first level, you'll hear footsteps from people on the second level... so beware.

Les abords sont très bruyants du fait qu'une route importante 4 voies passe au pied de l'hôtel en plus nous avons dû subir pendant 2 nuits des travaux , réflexion de la chaussée. pas de chance! Heureusement, la literie était confortable plus confortable que les autres hôtels. L'hôtel est bien rénové , bien décoré avec une belle piscine (dommage qu'elle ne soit pas bien nettoyée) . une belle décoration sur les murs extérieur style street art

Walls and ceilings were super thin, we could basically listen in on any conversations going on in the rooms around us, in addition to the guests stomping around up above. Staff was weirdly stingy with towels, refusing our request for a couple of extras until we brought back our two used towels to exchange. The furnishings in the room itself were okay, although the bed was very firm. The mini fridge could get loud. The bathroom was dingy and needed some serious detail cleaning in the corners and crevices. There was zero counter space; we ended up placing the small ironing board on top of the toilet tank just so we had room to lay out our toiletries. On a positive note, there are many nice restaurants within walking distance, we had a good time trying them all. Overall, would not recommend without a serious overhaul. I understand it's a historic hotel and has a certain charm to it, but there are some concessions that need to be made in the name of modern comfort.

The hotel is a retro-styled gem, with motel-style rooms. Everything was clean and well-tended. The reception staff was welcoming and affable. The hotel is on Biscayne Boulevard, the main route north from Miami. The #3 bus can be unreliable and crowded, but links one to Downtown and Aventura Mall in the opposite direction. The neighbourhood has Starbucks and the wonderful Jimmy's East Side Diner is a few blocks north. Reasonable price for Miami.

I stayed at the New Yorker Miami Hotel from March 6th to March 9th. The staff was friendly and helpful, and they provided fresh towels. There was also a pool that I didn't get a chance to use. While my stay wasn't terrible, I did have some issues with the hotel. There was no laundry basket or a place to put clothes. There was no place to put bathroom toiletries. I think that is a reasonable minimum requirement for a hotel, but because of this, I had to constantly shuffle my things around. The closet was tiny, but the shower and toilet were reasonably sized. I was told my room would be cleaned every two days. Since I arrived on Friday, I logically assumed it would be cleaned on Sunday. I'm not sure if it was my fault, but I didn't put a "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door, so it should have been cleaned. When I returned to my room, nothing had been done, and the management didn't seem to know what was going on. In the end, they just gave me fresh towels. The woman at the front desk was very nice. She checked up on me and gave me an ice pack after I bumped my head on the stairs. The hotel provides food and drinks but no amenities like floss. It does, however, have bagels early in the morning, which is a nice touch. Normally, I wouldn't be this critical, but for over $180 a night, I thought I would at least get a place to put my clothes, like a few drawers or a small closet. But maybe that's just how it is in Miami in March. That's my honest review.

The room was a suite overlooking the pool area, very large and well appointed. The room was upstairs and with no elevator it would have been a challenge for us to take our very heavy luggage up the stairs. The gal at the front desk saw that my husband was walking with a cane so came to our rescue and found two volunteers to help us. We were very grateful and made sure to tip them.

I had a really pleasant stay here! The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful from check-in to check-out—it made a big difference. The rooms have been renovated nicely with a clean, modern look. They’re a decent size, though the furnishings are on the minimal side, which actually keeps the space uncluttered and relaxing. The overall ambiance of the hotel is calm and welcoming. I especially liked the pool area—it’s a cute spot to unwind—and the outdoor seating is a nice touch for morning coffee or an evening chat. While the immediate area feels a little sketchy at first glance, I loved that I could walk right across the street for good food and great coffee. Super convenient! Plus, the shopping center is only about a mile away, and you’re close to the cruise ports, which makes this a practical base if you’re traveling. All in all, a solid, positive experience with lovely staff, fresh rooms, and convenient access to essentials. I’d stay again.
