Property appears clean and orderly, though it’s an old property. However, the new owners have made significant improvements. Enjoyed my stay, and the room was clean and appealing. Had restful night in comfortable bedding. The cleaning staff kept the room clean and the front desk staff were attentive and available 24 Hrs. Definitely got more than the nightly cost for my stay!

I don't understand the positive reviews. If they got new management and did "updates", they did it in the cheapest way possible. There are holes in the walls, paint missing from the ceiling. Dirt in the tiles of the bathroom, stained walls and carpet, a dirty chair is provided. There was also stains on the sheets in one of the beds. Pros: no bugs to be seen. The gentleman at the front desk was nice. He knew the area and checking in was really easy even though the way I booked seemed to be difficult because of Expedia. But, those two things really are the bare minimum for a hotel. Overall we were hiking the lone star trail and really just needed a place to crash. We picked this place because it was affordable and I trusted the reviews, I was wrong. I wouldn't stay here again.
