Everything was good except the hot water took a long time to get to the bathroom. While a hotel system to re-circulate the water might be a big expense, the cost might be offset by the expense of water. Otherwise we loved the space and location.

We stayed in the two bedroom behind the main building. We loved our stay, the apartment was well furnished and very clean and in a beautiful, neighborhood location. The linens were plush and comfortable, towels were great. Just a couple of things I wanted to bring to your attention: the difficulty we had in operating the stovetop. Two out of the four burners would not light no matter what we tried with the knobs. You may also consider replacing the old windows in the right bedroom as you hear a lot of road noise from Bayshore Blvd especially starting around 6 in the morning. And the shower head needs to be replaced or demineralized. We would definitely stay again.

Unfortunately we had to cut our stay at Adaline short due to property being infested with ants and possible termites. We arrived late at night and went directly to sleep to have the girls wake up scared in the middle of the night with ants and other insects crawling on them, on pillowed and bedding sheets. In the morning we saw that bugs were everywhere in the property so we sent a message to the property management requesting pest control service, then we left to our planned activities. The property management did not call, text or take care of the issue. Instead they sent a message on Expedia asking us to call to provide more details about the issue reported. We did not see that email from Expedia timely, only after we returned to the property to find out that the issue was not taken care of. Therefore we asked for 1]2 refund for the second night so that we can relocate to a hotel, however the property management offered just 1/3 of the amount of what we payed (instead of half claiming that Expedia was getting the rest of the money (including taxes and property management fees).

Leah for President

I met Leah at the end of my stay. I found out she is responsible for the amazingly clean accommodations! This was one of the cleanest rooms I have stayed in for a long time. I frequent pricey hotels and vacation homes. It seems properties (hotels and private residencies) do the bare minimum regarding cleaning. I know oftentimes housekeeping has limited time to clean, short staffing, etc. Leah is different - she gives a special home touch to the residence. I don’t know how she accomplishes this awesome feat - but I’m grateful. I had a customer service issue - the person I had to communicate with representing the property made me feel demoralized. No offense to that property manager person - we possibly had a misunderstanding. Leah smoothed everything out. She made my family and I feel heard. She added the human element to the modern day stay (with these stays - you do not see people - it’s primarily emails and texts). Leah is the true gem of this company. I hope that she gets the celebration and promotions that she deserves. Thank you Leah, you are awesome❤️. Thanks to you I would stay here again (and highly recommend it to others). Also the location is amazing and beautiful.

Lovely place to stay. Great area - close to Bayshore drive and Hyde park village. The accommodation was well designed, comfortable with plenty of coffee. Only downsides we had were parking on arrival (due to Gasparilla festival) and sound proofing between the units - next doors TV was really loud through the wall. Would stay here again if in the area.
