A great property at Fortuna. Close to the shops and the centre of the town which are just a straight road up. The property was very clean, had a fully equipped kitchen, coffee maker and fast wifi. Great for families.

Close to everything.

Just as the pictures show, this place is in excellent shape and everything is brand new. The location is great too, a few minutes drive to town. The only thing I would suggest to the owner is to get a better mattress, the one where I slept was very hard and uncomfortable.

Easy access with central accommodation to town and La Fortuna waterfalls, this property offers many amenities. Clean, beautifully decorated, brand new unit, has an amazing view of the rain forest and Arenal volcano from both bedroom balconies. Secure parking! Excellent experience! Loved seeing the cattle next door graze on tall grasses from my room!

This 2 story rental villa has a great view of Volcan Arenal from the second story. It overlooks a farm with elephant grass used for grazing animals. The location is about 2 km south of the center of La Fortuna, so a car is necessary. It is close to several of the tour outfitters that do canyoneering and rafting. It is initially hard to see on your first visit (look for the Sapiens sign on Ruta 702) because the group of 3 houses are set 70 meters south of the road and accessed via a thin 1 lane road. The property lot is large, green with lots of plants, and there are lots of birds. My only suggestion is that the owners put AC in the living room (AC is only in the bedrooms) and put more hooks for hanging clothes in the bathroom. Communication is via the Expedia app.

Great stay. Communication could be better.

The accommodations were clean and modern. We wished that we had a closet in the rooms to hang our clothing, but overall it was very nice. Check in and communication with the host was difficult. This could easily be resolved if he used WhatsApp for communication. We had eSim cards in our phones, but they were only usable for small amounts of data, not for calls. We had a very long travel day to get to La Fortuna with no WiFi access, and we didn’t receive the codes until after 9pm the night of our arrival. It would have been very helpful to message the owner through WhatsApp to let him know we had arrived and to receive the door code. Thankfully a worker came by just as we were getting ready to knock on the doors of the adjacent villa to get on their WiFi and message the owner thru the app. I really encourage the owner to utilize WhatsApp, as it is the best way to communicate with international guests.

We booked this property for 7 days during the Christmas holidays in December. Alex (The host) of this property was very responsive in responding to all our inquiries before our stay, during our stay, and after our stay. Mucho Gracias Alex! This property is 5 min (by car) away from the La Fortuna village making it easy to access supermarkets, restaurants, tour bookings, car /scooter rental, cell phone SIM, banks etc. On vacation, After a long day, good food, and a good night's sleep is must to relax and recharge. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable and Its becusae of our stay here, we loved it! This property is brand new and in Excellent Condition. Alex has built this property in a quiet area, surrounded by nature. You have an uninterrupted view of the Arenal Volcano from both bedrooms! Melodious bird chirping will wake you up rather than a boring alarm clock. The property has two bedrooms with comfortable beds with large glass sliding doors and modern-looking washrooms. Car parking is next to the house. As this property is new, adding some of the few things are recommended, such as a place to store and arrange cloths (cabinets, drawers etc) Adding a Washer and Dryer would be great! In essence, we love our stay and its mainly due to our comfortable stay at this property. I will surely rent this during my next vacation in Costa Rica.
