This was an affordable beach escape in a surprisingly well-appointed adorable apartment (I thought I was just getting a room). Full kitchen. Powerful shower. Comfortable furniture and cute decor. Pool was well-kept and warm, though the lounging feels a little exposed to street and all the neighbors. BUT, walk around the corner less than 3 minutes and you are at the perfect little beach path. Toes in the water in no time. Among all of the ridiculously overpriced (spring break) chain hotels, I was so glad to find the Fernando Flats.
